Predator Ridge Resort has embarked on a pioneering journey by adopting SenseNet’s advanced wildfire detection technology, marking a significant leap in community safety measures. This collaboration with the City of Vernon, BC, and local fire services exemplifies a proactive approach to wildfire management, enhancing the safety and security of residents and the surrounding natural landscape.

In a remarkable demonstration at Predator Ridge on January 22, 2024, SenseNet’s FireWard technology astounded fire professionals by detecting wildfires in under a minute, even under harsh weather conditions. This demo not only showcased FireWard’s robustness in adverse climates but also its unique ability to identify new fires amidst existing large-scale fires, solidifying its position as a pioneer in wildfire detection.

In a groundbreaking demonstration on December 15, 2023, at Ellison Provincial Park, SenseNet introduced its revolutionary wildfire detection technology, FireWard. The event, attended by Vernon’s Fire Rescue Services, Emergency Management, FireSmartBC, the BC Fire Commissioner, FPInnovations, and led by Fire Chief David Lind, marked a pivotal moment in the fight against wildfires, showcasing a united front in adopting cutting-edge solutions.
